ROLE PURPOSE
To aid the Head Coach in the delivery of each session, supporting participants in completing activities and on a 1:1 basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist the head coach in teaching of techniques, understanding drills and adapting drills for specific individuals.
- To maintain high standard in coaching/instructing, ensuring they are aware of the session activities in advance.
- Working alongside other coaches and volunteers to ensure smooth running of all aspects of the session- including quick communication with other staff members.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in working within Rugby League and/or disability settings is preferable, but a willingness to develop knowledge and understanding is essential.
- Organisational and communication skills.
- All volunteers will need to undertake a DBS (covered by the organisation).

- Patience and Empathy: A compassionate approach, with the patience to support participants as they develop at their own pace.
