JOB PURPOSE
To deliver inclusive and engaging football sessions for individuals with disabilities, fostering a supportive environment that promotes physical activity, skill development and social interaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Session Planning and Delivery: Design and implement inclusive football sessions tailored to the abilities and needs of participants, ensuring activities are both enjoyable and developmentally appropriate.
- Safety and Welfare: Maintain a safe playing environment, adhering to Warrington Wolves Community Foundation Safeguarding Policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with fellow coaches and volunteers to ensure coordinated delivery of the programme.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Possession of an FA Level 1 (or higher) coaching qualification is essential.
- Prior involvement in coaching football, particularly with individuals with disabilities is desirable.
- All volunteers will need to undertake a DBS (covered by the organization) and will aim to be put on a First Aid and Safeguarding Course.

- Communication: Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey instructions clearly.
- Patience and Empathy: A compassionate approach, with the patience to support participants as they develop at their own pace.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of coaches and volunteers.
