Dementia Support by Good Neighbours is here to support people living with early onset dementia and their caregivers. We believe that dementia shouldn't hold anyone back from living a full life.
Through in person visits, we get to know everyone involved and your situation, what support is already in place, and what additional help is needed for everyone to live well in this situation. We want to help you to live and age well, and remain independent in your own homes and communities where possible.
We work closely with everyone involved and can connect you to a range of services and activities going on in your area. We will take into account your situation and wishes and encourage your honesty. There is no shame in your feelings.
We can provide guidance and referrals to resources such as:
- Warrington Carers' Hub
- Citizens Advice
- Local dementia-friendly groups, activities, and events
- Partners that support dementia in Warrington, including Later Life and Memory Service and Dementia Care Navigators
