The Puddle Project: Adult Day Service
Empowering Adults with SEND Through Skills, Sport, and Community
The Puddle Project’s Adult Day Service provides a safe, supportive, and vibrant environment where adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) thrive. Our innovative program offers a wide range of meaningful activities and pathways, carefully designed to promote independence, confidence, and a strong sense of belonging.
Work Experience & Employment
Individuals gain hands-on experience across our site, contributing to real-world projects in groundskeeping, hospitality, and event preparation. We also offer supported employment opportunities, where individuals with SEND take active roles on weekends assisting families, developing valuable workplace skills and earning a sense of pride and purpose.
Inclusive Sports
Our developing sports facility ensures everyone has the chance to get active, with physical activities and team games that promote health, confidence, and teamwork.
Horticulture & Agriculture
Individuals engage in seasonal horticultural and agricultural work—learning how to grow, care for animals, and manage natural spaces sustainably.
Life Skills Development
Whether it’s cooking, budgeting, travel training, or personal care, our daily activities build practical life skills that support independent living.
Day Trips & Community Connections
We take regular trips into the community - helping individuals build confidence in new settings while staying socially connected.
A Collaborative, Person-Centred Environment
Everything at The Puddle Project is co-shaped by the adults we support. Through volunteer opportunities and shared planning, participants influence the direction of the service and leave their mark on the site they help build.
